Right, ExplorerWA, we are using less in North America; but the rest of the world is using more.

Statistical hair splitting is insignificant to everyone but speculators. I am sure this data will be used to bid up oil futures contracts.

My fuel demand is much lower than 2011 and the price of fuel at the pump is still too high! And Barry's economy is still bad, very bad! Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. Consider using other forms of less expensive transportation to lower your cost, if possible! 12/22/2012!

This is an election year, big oil needs to take in more cash so they can BUY the candidates for President, US Senate, Congress, and state law makers. The big oil machine can not keep the price of gas high on their own, they need a lot of help from politicians and the media.

Why is it an estimate when its already occurred & should be able to be measured within limits.?? What they estimate means even less than what is actually demanded - since supply/demand doesn't count anymore...only in paper bbls world.

Then what is their justification for jacking the prices up? Oh yes, I forgot, speculation and price fixing by the big oil monopoly.

"republicans have tried to get the Keystone pipeline running and/or drill in our own country but B.O. puts the kabosh on them every time.. read the facts!"
Another fact: The Democrats wanted a mandate that, if approved, the oil from the Keystone pipeline would only be used for domestic purposes but it was shot down by the republicans.

Aren't we glad to know our tax dollars have a purpose. And, for those of you who keep thinking any President can control the price we pay at the pump - GROW UP! The oil industry is PRIVATE, though publically traded. They can charge whatever they want for "their" product(s). Unless the Gov't regulates the entire industry(which Republicans will not allow, as they are primarily oil people), there is no possible way for the price we pay at the pump to be decided in D.C.! However, controlling "speculators" is possible and a good idea!

In an electronic age seems this info would be available earlier and not being revised 60 days after the fact. Makes you wonder if the EIA INFO is correct or did these guys get trained where the weather guys did %%%.
