Some are just "game shows" (tell me that is reality). Others are an attempt at SIMULATING reality, but I find them so unreal it is crazy. If you don't want me to watch a new show, just tell me it is a "reality" show.

If this is really reality, wow, this makes the country look as if it is made up of low-class trashy, vulgar people - no wonder our economy is in poor shape if this is what reality is! Plus, how many more ridiculous Cooking Shows must be on? 1000 ways to make a Cupcake! Furthermore, enough of the Pawn Shows, Restorations - copy cats of Antique Roadshow. And WHY are these shows on all night long on the HISTORY CHANNEL? (This is History)? Enough is enough! Why cannot the Studios make educational shows, drama (without the violence, sex, shootings), and Comedy (without the sexual suggestions)? It is pretty bad to have Cable and the one Station to watch is only The Weather Channel! Guess this proves the "intelligence" in this Country if this is what people want, watch and enjoy! How sad we have become!

I doubt any others are much different - non-actors acting, fake set-up situations, etc.

Partly due to the lack of actual Judges. Mostly due to it being a show where a bunch of desperate attention-seekers with no talent want their 1 minute on national TV. (I liked it better when it was a singing competition.) I watched a few episodes of Pawn Stars this year. It is sad how easy it is to tell that those people are acting all the way through the show. And their acting is horrible. You see hostile angry customers accidentally letting smirks through. The employes yelling at each other, and it sounding like a middle school play. Maybe if they actually made it a show and hired real actors, it would be better.

If the word "Reality" is used in the sentence as "Show" to describe a program on television, I make a note to avoid that channel.

Way better than the stupid sitcoms with the laugh tracks. I find that so annoying. I only watch the major network reality shows, no cable except GOLD RUSH. I love all 4 Gordon Ramsay's shows & Survivor & TAR. Hate BIG BRO & all dancing shows. AGT is still good but I've lost interest in IDOL. I like the VOICE but that will soon get old. I'm hoping X-FACTOR is better this year & I always watch ANTM, it's a guy thing.
