I will probably upgrade to the 256 GB iPad when Apple realizes that 128 GB of storage is not enough for us data freaks. Or maybe we'll come up with reliable, fast, and cheap cellular data service first and the question will be moot because we can put all our data on iCloud where Apple and the Government (of either party, they're both equally bad) wants it. As it stands now, you can get fairly reliable, fast sometimes, and expensive cellular data service.

A 128 GB fourth-generation iPad. 64 GB of storage is just not enough for us data freaks.

I previously upgraded to a 64 GB third-generation iPad to get the LTE data.

I previously upgraded to a 64 GB second-generation iPad because 32 GB is just not enough for us data freaks.

I started out with a 32 GB first-generation iPad.

I sold the first-generation iPad. I gave the second-generation iPad to my BFF. I'm going to sell the third-generation iPad. So I keep on recycling my old iPads.

iPhone 5. My BFF got the iPhone 4S as a birthday present. Some birthday present, the front glass is cracked. She wanted it anyway as her dad fixes the cracked glass in her mom's iPhone.

Will probably get an iPad at some point, most likely a refurbished one.

I already have sold the MacBook Air to Apple Reuse and Recycling. I used the gift card to buy an Apple Magic Mouse, an Apple Wireless Keyboard, the new iPod Nano, and a couple of pieces of software. I still have a few dollars left on the card.

I got an insurance check for the replacement cost less my deductible.

I bought the new MacBook Pro through the Employee/Retiree Purchase Plan of my old employer. That cut $90 off the price.

I just ordered a Thunderbolt Display to use with my MacBook Pro. I plan to sell my 27" iMac and put all my data on the MacBook Pro. That way, I can take it all with me on vacation.

I'm typing this on a MacBook Air. I only have 10 GB free out of 256 GB and all I have on it is my music and a few documents. I decided to buy a MacBook Pro and sell the MacBook Air back to Apple Reuse and Recycling.

Bought an iPhone 4S most recently.

I would have settled with a 3GS but they only sell them with 8GB. Not at all interested in the Siri feature on the S.

Prior to this, I bought my very first Apple product (a MacBook Pro) in June.

I ended out buying another 4 GB of genuine Apple memory and putting it in myself. It took about three tries before I pushed hard enough.

The new 1080p-compatible Apple TV. The only thing you can get from Apple that costs less than $100 and is not a cable.

It's a Mac and it's light. But if you have 450 GB of software and data like I do on my iMac, it's not going to fit on that 256 GB SSD.

Only when I'm trying to run MacOS and Windows at the same time with Parallels. Plenty of RAM when running MacOS alone. But there are always Windows-only apps with no Mac equivalent. When I get my apartment back to a semblance of normalcy, I'm going to write some Mac apps as I programmed software for 32.468 years for pay. (All my pension paperwork had my years of service down to three decimal places so I remember that number.)

As to "taking it back" it's going to the Genius Bar, they will take it into the back room, and they will stuff some more RAM in the machine.
