Surface Tension - is a property of the surface of a liquid that allows it to resist an external force. Which do we want in our fuel?

Ethanol raises surface tension but prevents the fine mist that Electronic Fuel INjectors produce?! Why would we be doing this to ourselves?

Acetone causes fuel to burn better and completely by lowering the surface tension so that the fuel will spray finer for smoother plete testing and explanation:

Help me guys, what do you think? Ive been putting a cup of acetone with every fill up and i see smoother peformance.

I tried the acetone years ago. You had better not spill any on your paint job or get a single drop on plastic, including your gas cap. This stuff will remove paint, and melt plastic. I found out the hard way.

Just another example of a misguided rookie.

Whoa, I can't believe my own error! I meant to type I had tried ACETONE and found it wasn't worth the bother!
E10, on the other hand, is in every regular pump in Manitoba, and I have yet to to see ANYBODY with problems attributed to the use of it in motor vehicles, lawn mowers, chain saws, generators, or other similar uses. The marine dealers know how to deal with the problems caused by older non-compatible fuel tanks, we still have lots of boating enthusiasts that have no problems with any newer boats, or any older ones where they were astute enough to change the tanks.

I tried ethanol for several fills in a row on my previous vehicle, and found it really wasn't worth the effort.
In contrast, that same car, after all the stations here had E10, actually had the mileage stabilize slightly higher than when some fills were E10 and some were E0. On a highway trip through territory where E10 wasn't the norm, I actually had the worst mileage of the trip in those areas.
