Wal-Mart begins holiday price discounts this week.

Please post any good deals and holiday shopping info for others here in Houston at this topic.

Spencer's Gifts is selling a LOT of stuff cheap.
I got this huge tv remote for my 99 year old grampa for $10.

OH!
DO NOT BUY GIFTS from the Kiosk people in the center of malls. They are overpriced, and they dissappear after Christmas so you cant take stuff back. Many of them are gypsie crooks (no offense to gypsies).

The Galleria is having plenty of traffic nightmares and some of the drivers in desparation to get out of parking lots are just driving out into moving traffic. Be careful out there shoppers.

First Colony Mall isnt too bad... spread out nicely. The parking lot gets full but there are plenty of other lots around it.

Sorry, but (in my HONEST opinion) TWO Wal-Mart links on the same thread seemed a bit too much. My other concern was the posting of back-to-back retail store links.

Let's wait and see what our moderators have to say.

Thanks for posting and motivating other racers to participate!

HouHrl, evidently you do not read clearly. The last time I read the topic "description", it says, "Local discussion about gas prices and more!"

Holiday shopping last time I checked will have a significant impact to consumers that have to get out there to shop and waste gas sitting in traffic.

Others that place online orders, will impact gasoline in the area as well since delivery trucks will have to compete with road space and time, unless you subscribe to a delivery service that relies on human transportation.

Also, there are other topics, I've noticed and posted to that have no relevance to gasoline locally and you of all people should know that since you have created some of these.

I suggest that you take this up with the moderator if you have a problem with this topic and not "air out the laundry", so to speak on the very topic page.

I don't set the rules for the topic, the moderator does.
